Carl Christensen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in New York and owner of North Coast Counseling. He is a Clinical Member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers, a past Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor, American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy; and Fellow in the American Orthopsychiatric Association. Carl has worked with individuals and families for 40 years in public and private settings. He was previously on the faculty of the School of Social Work, Syracuse University, a Visiting Assistant Professor of Social Work at the Rochester Institute of Technology and adjunct Human Services Instructor for Southwestern Oregon Community College.

Tayah Jackson, Limited-Permit Mental Health Counselor
I have had a long-standing interest in mental health. This contributed to my undergraduate studies for a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, with a forensic concentration and criminal justice minor from Lake Erie
College in Painesville, Ohio; having experience in a residential setting with troubled adolescents. I have since completed my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from SUNY Brockport. During this
time, I interned in a practice that provided therapy and forensic evaluations utilizing the Sexual Adjustment Inventory and Look Assessment of Sexual Interest, among other assessments as needed. I
have worked with clients regarding general mental health, couples/family therapy and with individual and group settings for sexual adjustment/difficulties. Since receiving my New York State Mental Health Counseling Limited Permit, I have continued to complete sexual behavior risk assessments on my own with the supervision of Carl Christensen while continuing to do independent work in the aforementioned populations. At this time, I also work as a clinic therapist for Orleans County Mental Health providing
outpatient treatment to various clientele demographics.
